My wife and I moved to Grand Forks from Fargo in 2006. At first we were home sick for Fargo and didn’t know anyone, but I became involved in YP and through YP, we met a lot of great people with common interests who later became great friends. In fact, almost all of our friends are now in YP!
I currently work for the City of Grand Forks in communications and Tiff works for UND. We have one child, Alex, who is now 6 months old! We also have two pups, Chance and Ginger, among the three of them, we are constantly kept on our toes!
We love the people of Grand Forks and their sense of community. Grand Forks is a bigger city in ND, but it still has a small town feel to it. We love living in a community that comes together to better their city, and invest in each other. Grand Forks sees the potential of the young professional, and richly invests in its younger demographic. We love going for walks on the greenway, going to UND football and hockey games, attending all of the awesome YP events, and all of the great golf courses Grand Forks has to offer, but our favorite thing to do is just spend time with our friends.
I joined YP in 2006 and have been an active member ever since. I have served on the Board of Directors for three years now and value the skills, experiences, and relationships formed through serving YP and the Board.
