I was originally brought up on a bison ranch next to Pelican Rapids, MN and really enjoyed my time there. For undergrad I went to the University of North Dakota for Geography and then moved south to get my Master’s Degree in Geospatial Sciences from Missouri State University.
In 2011, I moved to Grand Forks to take a GIS position for AE2S (winner of the 2012 YP Growing Grand Award!), which has been a great fit for me! To become more involved in the community, I joined the GGFYP and since have realized all the great things this organization participates in.
This organization is very active politically, promotes volunteering for a greater good, and has unique social gatherings for young adults (e.g. Oktoberfest, Connect the Parks, Picnics, ArtSee, etc.). Through all the events I’ve been able to broaden my horizons and feel more incorporated in the community and in the process met a good looking girl!
