  1. So no mention of the community BBQ at the Alerus on Monday, nor the community events held by the Petroleum Council that were open to the public? Did anyone in GF publicize this event? The crowd was pretty sparse for the BBQ, which embarrassed me as a GF resident. They had hoped to feed between 6,000 to 8,000 people. I hope the Petroleum Council will hold future meetings here.

Our “What’s Up Wednesday” posts provide a sample of events/activities happening over the weekend (Th-Sun) when individuals and families tend to have a little more free time. We do try to feature other community events on our social media pages but unfortunately we did not hear about the Petroleum Council BBQ until it was too late.
